It was a dud...

...This week, I mean. I was busy with some family reunions (which mainly involved eating too much for too long) and trying old and new games now that I finally got my new video card (almost a week later than when I was supposed to get it -_-). I also am not sure if I'll be able to do a lot next week, as I already know I am going to be busy, but I'll try to spare some time to work on the game.

So, my apologies for the luckluster update, things didn't exactly worked out as I planned, and I couldn't really avoid the family stuff, or my aunts would have given me shit for it, as I already dodged a few previous invitations. I hope to bear better news next sunday!

When are you going to talk about those >sister related events, y' know to tie us over? "Nii-chan, I have to pose in my swimsuit while you code? O-okay!"

    1. Well, there are going to be events featuring Celeste's sister, but I don't know about swimsuits being involved (also, I'll probably show her sister in chapter 2, I feel like there are already too many characters in chapter 1).

    1. I am not sure if my family should be helping, or if it's my family that is burning me out. XD

Anyway, summer is getting closer, which will probably give me more time to work on the game.

  3. What do you think of Celeste Blake: The Evindium Affair? Would you like to see more games inspired by you?

    1. Well, it's always flattering when people are inspired by my games to do their own stuff, but that's pretty much about it.

I am not particularly pro or against that, as long as it's clear that it isn't actually set in the same universe (I haven't even finished the first game in the series, it would be weird to have someone else work on it at the same time as me, and would probably fuck up what little lore is there to mess with), and I am not directly involved.

When I am done with the universe, I might give the okay for spin-offs and such, as there will be an established "canon" in place, so people won't be confused as to what is what (also, games set in my universe coming out when my own stuff is still in development would run the risk of "cannibalizing" the audience).

As for the Evindium Affair as a game, I tried a demo when the author contacted me about it, and it had potential, I'll have to give it another look now that it's publicly available.
