It's about time!

The damned photo-shoot event is done! That took WAY too long. I have a few extranet entries to add/update, but thankfully the scene itself is complete. It's short but there are enough variations to keep people busy for a while. Also, it has some sweet rewards (depending on your choices! ;P), so it should make people happy (one of the possible rewards is the recovery of 1 mental resistance point! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!).

Now it should be time for another side-quest, probably something from Hamlin (although I am not 100% sure yet, I might change my mind at the last minute), something that shouldn't take too long (fingers crossed), and maybe the occasion to try some puzzles I wanted to test for a while.

And this is pretty much it, I believe. Even if I didn't say anything special or exciting, feel free to be hyped and excited for my game, I strongly recommend it.

And now, for the anime intro/review thingy of the week, I bring you City Hunter!

In Italy we had some weird shit going with the intro (multiple versions, etc), so here is hoping this one is what you saw

To summarize the plot, I will shamelessly quote wikipedia: "The series follows the exploits of Ryo Saeba, a "sweeper" is always found to be chasing beautiful girls but despite his behavior of a "pervert", at the same time he is a private detective who works to rid Tokyo of crime, along with his associate or partner, Hideyuki Makimura. Their "City Hunter" business is an underground jack-of-all-trades operation, contacted by writing the letters "XYZ" on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station."

Basically, it's a one person A-Team, without the part about the military hunting them down. And he is a pervert, a BIG pervert, which creates most of the comedy relief in the series.

It's a nice series, with the classic "ultra-badass with a flaw" as a protagonist, some nice side-characters, a good soundtrack. Some of the episodes weren't too great (sometimes they just exaggerated with the humour), and maybe it was dragged on for too long (some of the characters became parody of themselves, thanks to that), but it still was plenty of fun. I would suggest you give it a try, if you never saw it, and decide for yourself if it's worth your time or not.

I hope I am not forgetting anything, but this should be it. Tune in next week, we'll probably be talking about how slow I am, and how unispired my choices for anime are, so it will be great fun as always! Until next time! ^_^

  1. for the extranet search do we have to search a word or phrase to bring up items, I never could figure that out =)

  2. If it's a character, you need the full name, for alien races, planets, companies, etc. it's usually a single word. Rarely, things might be a bit more complex, but since it's just some non-essential info, I believe it's fine to have some weird words thrown in there for good measure. :D
