Thank you, George |
And I will also start to plan my next step in the development (a new closed beta might be really close, and I guess that even a public release is starting to become a more concrete possibility). The only bad news is that I inadvertedly deleted a bunch of pictures I had been saving for a while. They were for plans that were still a long way from entering the real development cycle, and it probably won't hurt the game too much, but I got really upset about it. The funny thing is that I realized it only a few hours AFTER I had deleted them, so even the program I used to try and retrieve them managed to get only a few of them.
Anyway, I am also thinking of other games I might review, I am actually doing some studying instead of lazing around the house as I usually do, and the game is moving along nicely, right now. Sounds good, right?
Right.
Ciao MDQP,
ReplyDeleteLike no way, some incredible force of the universe finally decided to take control of you and start working around your game. :)
No just kidding, I know you take alot of time just to finish a little scratch, but let's be real. Don't make us wait till next year for an update! And If you want pictures, make a Tumblr start to like whatever you want and reblog, reblog retumblr! You won't lose your desired pics again ;P
Hugs and Kisses Alectra
That incredible force of the universe still possesses me, apparently, as I am doing yet more work on the game. Someone got tired of waiting for a release and probably sold their soul to some demon in order to keep me inspired... Of course, the poor fellow didn't know that even when I am inspired, I can avoid doing anything through sheer laziness... :p
ReplyDeleteActually, I am working on the game right now, much to my own surprise. The hardest part is probably populating the planet a little, with random events, and at least a handful of NPCs and situations. I should really focus on one thing at a time, it's just that I get too many ideas, and I have a hard time letting them go, so I end up making huge changes and additions, that require more changes and additions to fit in better, and so on, and so on... In the end, I need to cut corners, because I wouldn't be able to ever make a release if I had it my way, but this leaves me with stuff to do from the get go of the next cycle, and then I become insane and shit happens... After a small break, the cycle can then start anew, and I can return to make the same mistakes again! :D
As for the pictures, I wouldn't have lost anything, if I just paid more attention. I was a little tired, and didn't realize that I selected the wrong folder to delete... It's not like I need a redundant system just for this (and I usually make backups of the game, which is the most important thing).
