Miscellanous content + testing

The title says it all (well, almost, I am also checking around the game and my notes to see if I am forgetting something, as I have this nagging feeling in the back of my head right now... -_-). Anyway, I have added some more minor content in the form of random events, and I have been working on the basics for a possible gameplay addition, which would involve exploring small randomly generated space relicts, each with their own set of goals you must achieve to get paid by the company that hires you (example: download the journal, find a body and bring it back, figure out why the engines exploded, etc). It would substitute the idea I had since the original demo (but that I never implemented) of exploring uncolonized planets for money. I already have an almost perfect random generation setup for the ships (thanks to a prototype I cobbled together when I was helping a fellow RAGS game maker), and the idea intrigues me. I won't add it to this release, though, as I figure it might take a decent amount of work to make it interesting and fun, but I kind of toyed with the idea for a while now, and I thought I would share it with you. I think the closed beta should happen next week (fingers crossed!), and then some time to improve/fix it before a public release.

In other news, I got 2 5€ donations from 2 returning donors (you guys are awesome, thanks a lot!), and the GOG sales are probably going to suck away that money as soon as I get my virtual hands on it.

This is it for this week, not much else to say, so just stay tuned I guess. Until next week! ^_^
