Randomly working on random quests

I didn't do as much as I wanted this week (I found myself a game I find a little too addictive, named Factorio), but I still did something for the random quests. Mainly, I worked on implementing categories for the quests and some of the shared mechanics among them. I still can't make up my mind if I want to keep the random map generator as is, or if I want to use pre-made blocks and randomly assemble them. I did figure out a few more ideas, and I believe I have all the images I need, so at least I got this much done. Still, that's about it for the week, nothing I can really give details about for now (I'd rather have the full system in place before that), so this is going to be a really short post. See you next week!

  1. factorio. eh? i know the feeling. i once was so caught up in the game, i managed to fully automate everything that's possible to automate in 2 weeks. so, yeah, it's pretty addicting.

    2. Ah-ah, I like these kind of games a lot, but they really take too much time, damn it. The only thing I dislike in Factorio are the aliens. They are the only threat, and generally they are always behind the curve, so they are a nuisance more than anything else.
