A positive week

Nothing too insane, but I figured out how I want one of the two puzzles to work, and added it to the quest (the coding for this one is fairly minimal, I just had to fiddle around with some image tools to create some terrible interface to go with the puzzle itself), and I dealt with some of the code and writing related to getting Celeste's help to bypass this puzzle, plus some scenes I need and a handful of pictures. I actually spent some time looking at gifs of Celeste, wondering if I could use any of them, but they are too low quality, I don't think they would fit with the images. I still need to figure the second puzzle, tie up some loose ends, and write the endings, and this quest should be done.

I am a bit tired, so thankfully I don't have much more to write, and I can go straight to bed once I answer any comments I find in the previous posts. Until next week! ^_^

  1. Hey man,

Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware yet. Blogger is going to remove all adult content after march 23rd.

Are you moving elsewhere? Or what are you going to do?

    1. But does that refer to images and videos hosted on the blog itself? I mean, you can download the game, but I don't have explicit content on the blog, so I don't know whether I would fall under the new policy or not. I got an email, but the rule sounded vague enough, I am not sure what should I do. In case I have to migrate, do you know of any competing services I could use?

    2. Not the OP anon, but Wordpress is a decent blogging site, and their mature content guidelines seem like you'd have enough leeway to move the blog there if worst come to the worst.

    3. Also, you can look at it this way. You now have a deadline for releasing TOTDC v1.0 to us :p

    4. (OP here) I don't know, that page is definitely vague- but I wouldn't want to bet on them permitting it. I myself am a webdeveloper so I don't tend to use blogsites or bloghosting (and even for regular hosting the adult content rules are often vague). Wordpress was posted above, their rules seem permissive enough.

    5. I think I found a nice alternative in blog.com, I am trying to set things up over there, we'll see how it goes, I should be in no hurry, there is still time before they shut things down.

    6. You can always migrate to Tumblr too, if needed. They don't restrict explicit content at all, as far I am aware. All you need to do is to flag your blog as explicit.

    8. Update on the situation: They're not going through with the ban on porn. Only commercial stuff will be banned.

So, no need to move to another blog.

    9. And there was much rejoicement! I had already exported the blog to blog.com, but I'd rather keep this one, so I am rather happy I won't have to migrate. :D
