As far as the game is concerned, it was a slow week, but I got a few things done, nevertheless. I tested the quest, I worked on some minor changes to a few scenes here and there and I am almost done with a mini-quest, which should have been part of the game for a while now. If you have seen the quest where you get to retrieve a vase, you might remember I had left a teaser for a future quest to follow that one. I had to scrap the idea I had before, but I come up with a decent replacement. The good thing is that it should be shorter, and it should have more interesting puzzles. Since it's a follow up to a quest, I thought that keeping things short and sweet was a good idea. I probably did something else, but I can't remember what it is, damn it!
The reason it was slow this week is because I got caught up with Awesomenauts (I love that game!), so I spent a good chunk of my free time playing with it, instead of working on the game... Sorry guys! I promise I'll try to do better next week! ^_^
The future plans are more or less the same as last week, so nothing new on my personal roadmap for the game to share with you as of yet.
And now, for the usual anime intro/short review combo of the week, we have... Berserk!

As it often happens to me, I can't really speak about the quality of the english version of the anime... Also, I read the manga, rather than watch the anime, so keep that in mind. Having said that, Berserk is one of the most amazing and gritty fantasy worlds I have ever seen in an Anime. It follows Gatsu's quest for revenge against as he tries to survive a curse that has all sorts of monsters to try and kill him wherever he goes (just in case things weren't hard enough for him). It's also interesting to note that not all the arcs of the story have fantasy elements to them, and there is a fairly long one which is almost completely devoid of them. It's very dark, but I believe it's very interesting (if a bit gory, so be warned).

Still waiting for the next part of the game, just take your time, but please no more bloody games fun in the middle, just kidding!, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

DeleteI love Awesomenauts, I just wish I had gamer friends, because being stuck with strangers can be troublesome, it's harder to coordinate properly, picking the right awesomenauts which work well together, etc. Also, I am a newbie, so I end up not being up to par from time to time. -_-

I watched the first episode of Kino no Tabi, but I wasn't impressed, so I am holding my judgement until I watch a few more episodes. If I like it, I will try to watch the whole thing, and maybe I will end up talking about it here. :)
