This took longer than I thought...

...But the quest is finally over. I still need to add some of the short-term consequences (which means mainly a couple of scenes when you leave Verania and maybe another couple of them if you go back visiting Verania again), decide on what reward should I give the players for successfully complete the quest, and then the quest can be considered 100% complete. I must admit, it has been a nightmare, so far: from the beginning of the quest up until now, I think I had to scrap something like 5 puzzles (because RAGS couldn't handle them, or they proved to be too complex than I previously thought in order for them to be interesting), and 2 or 3 various scenes and settings.

I did my coding "Hollywood kung-fu" style:

That's one hell of a "come hither" look.

As a result, testing will probably be a terrible experience for me, but hopefully, I should be able to refine the whole thing a bit (with all the re-writing, I kind of lost track of how the whole quest works together, and I wouldn't want it to have lost its cohesiveness, so I'll have to keep an eye on it, too).

After this, it's finally time for adding some small touches here and there (new items, maybe add to some of the random scenes that need more polish), and then I'll move on to the next big thing, which should probably be a side-quest tied to one of the members of the crew (I believe I'll do Jane's quest, first, but I am not 100% sure yet).

After that, it will probably be Piper's romance, then another side quest, and then I'll see if the content actually warrants a release or not (I will probably add some more stuff along the way, but this sounds like a reasonable big picture to keep in mind throughout the development).

Anyway, this should be it for this week. Stay tuned for more updates on the situation. ;)

But I forgot who Verania is and what is her quest about, because I haven't played the game for a while now. Can you please enlighten me mdqp?

    1. Thanks! :D :D :D

Verania is actually a planet (it was mentioned in the game, but it wasn't implemented yet), it's where the creator of ALICE currently lives, so it's part of the main quest (she is one of the three people you should try to get to help you).

    2. "she is one of the three people you should try to get to help you"
Why would you do that? :(

I guess I'll go with "to move on the plot"! :D

"So you can find more delicious ways of submitting later on" could work too, I suppose... ;)
