There will be TOTDC2? Awesome! Will you meet some people from the first part?
ReplyDeleteWe should meet quite a few characters from the previous game, especially since I want a lot of the past choices to play out in the sequel.
DeletePlayers will be able to copy/paste some text from TOTDC, once I release a small update for it, that way they can export the choices from the first game.
I am still thinking about what methods I want to make available for new players, although I figure I'll have at least a questionnaire, perhaps something more advanced if I can come up with a good idea.
Ah, I forgot to mention: TOTDC 2 will use ren'py, but it will still have RPG elements and RAGS-like exploration in certain quests (but not all areas).
DeleteSo you plan to export choices from the first game? I hope I still have saves! But does that mean that relationships will also continue (I remember right you can be a couple with Jane and if I remember right there was an option to date Malena without losing control and becoming full-time slave)?
DeleteI'll need to update TOTDC 1 to put out text you can copy/paste, instead of using the built-in export function.I'll make sure there is an option to pick the start in detail, however, for newcomers and those who don't want to play through the game again.
DeleteI might have been able to let ren'py read the exported file, but it seemed a little too much work, and I figured most would re-play TOTDC 1 anyway, if they wanted that. I'll probably also add some extra content to TOTDC 1, to make the update a little spicy and more worthwhile.
Yes, you'll be able to export your romance, that's one of the things everyone probably wants. :)
You can date Malena and make her less "extreme", that's correct.
