How did anyone convince me to start a blog?

For the opening post, I should have put together something memorable... Put I couldn't come up with anything, so you get this, instead. A first post about there being a first post. I mean, other than updates on the game, what should I talk about? I have been thinking about it for a while, but nothing comes to my mind. I am sure there will be more than enough to do just talking about the game, organizing polls to gather feedback, and generally sharing my thoughts about the future of TOTDC, but I can't help but feel that this isn't enough. Your suggestions are important to make this a better blog, so be sure to share your opinions! This isn't like asking you to cover for my lack of ideas! Nope, not at all!

Anyway... The blog is inevitably going to change, as I get to understand more about how blogger works, in the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy what little it has to offer. Welcome to my blog!

  1. Hi,

great pleasure playing your games! actually, i think they are equally awesome compared to rough landing 1&2.
As a long-time-lurker i appreciate obvious progress and wish you efficient progress and inspiration with your projects!

Maybe, as this is the very the first comment, i can suggest something? i think most roleplaying games nowadays lack interaction between companions.
I would like to see more interaction (of any kind and, of course, fun things...) rather then new companions or secondary characters.

    Good luck and happy coding

    1. Thanks for your appreciation and your support! :) More interactions are planned to be included in the game, but I thought it would benefit more from getting the basic stuff done first. Something new with the companions will probably appear in the release following the next one.

  2. Ciao!

Don't worry about not putting something memorable... mine wasn't either, nor others that I know :)

But it's a start, and you have to start over somewhere...

Just hope, that in any of those new planets will be filled with latexed gals at some point! hehe no just joking. I'm enjoying what you've done so far and the use of companions is a nice feature that other games don't have :)

    1. Eh, eh, thanks for your support and your help before, I followed right away some of your suggestions.

Maybe a character obsessed with latex called Alectra could make an appearance, at some point? ;)

I always thought it was weird that there are so little games that allowed you to have companions of some sort (there are a few, but usually you don't get to develop any deep relationship with them). As I want the game to be a text adventure/RPG hybrid, I thought it would be a good idea to have companions in my game. It also allows me to make the protagonist a more well rounded character.

    2. Why thank you :)

Well yes, I think some of the best characters in RPG Games have suffered for having no companions, just something like me, me, me a bit of me, and companions that are just there to make that simple function XD

Anyway another suggestion is that you should start to follow some other blogs, so that way you get more people to follow you and of course thats means more possible donations ;)
Especially in those RPG blogs oriented such as the following:

      aknightandherkittenrpg.blogspot.com
      harem-vx.blogspot.com
      avindale.blogspot.com

and this one well... because I found some of the images lying there quite amusing:

      attheimageofpain.blogspot.com

Happy hunting in the blogger universe!
